to the Supreme Court, with months and months to go before the election, after Scalia died. Then he put in Amy Coney Barrett on the Supreme Court after RBG died, with a month to go before the election. He started it.

But with none of his wily finesse. These guys are sledgehammers, where Moscow Mitch could accurately throw a stiletto at thirty feet.

My understanding is that this is not even a Senate rule. It is more a matter of etiquette. Senatorial Privilege.

Senators are blocking hundreds of appointments for reason that have nothing to do with the appointees or the office.

If you allow someone privileges, and they repeatedly abuse those privileges, then it is time to withdraw those privileges.

This is a flaw in the system, and it is silly to continue it.

If the show were on the other foot, and in a GOP Senate Democrats put holds on hundreds of nominations, then the Republicans wouldn't waste a minute making changes.

For the top 3 but that is not enough. He needs to stop this rule.

I emailed Vance when he blamed Biden for the train wreck ,but now he is holding up Judicial nominees because the Justice Department is prosecuting a criminal. I could not believe him onn the Senate floor yesterday.

I fired off a blistering email yesterday and hope every Ohio Democrat will do the same. He may never read it. His first answer was a bunch of malarkey about working together.

The only elected official we have left in Ohio is Sherrod Brown and the trash is going after him.

The bright spot is that Democrats are winning special elections all over, but I fear for Democracy with this mob.

Just like Tuberville. Both were on the Senate floor. Tuberville pretending like that is all he wanted which did not make sense. Then JD ranting about them prosecuting the criminal.

The budget will be signed using Democrat votes. I never realized how much you can learn watching the Senate vote. Most of the time it is watching paint dry but when they vote it is different. I do not watch it constantly but leave it on in the background.

Durbin was making fun of JD for objecting because JD was holding up Judicial appointments because the Justice Department was prosecuting criminals.

Even Mitt Romney said, “ How could you not disrespect Vance?” Even his own party despises him.
