14. Hebgen Lake...

From a lagoon on the northern shore of the Madison Arm about halfway down looking toward the park. It was a fabulous day.

I had a lot of uninhabited spots to visit out there.

I always wonder what my picture remind other people of. I always go back to the time the photo was taken and thing relative to that time. But I took the picture, anyone else would have a different view and set of thoughts associated with the image. Well, one like that more then anything since it's kind of ambiguous.

Lake Arenal, I knew from the start that your entry would take first place. Summer fireworks! and Cooling Off, Doggy Style were my favorites in Poll#2. Your photo has the spirit of the summers of my childhood, when the Fourth of July was usually the high point of summer vacation.

Diamond_Dog, your entry has Dog, but that's not what I liked most about the photo. The reflections and green water reminded me of my wading in the green pools of Texas Falls and the Mad River in Vermont.

2naSalit, your entry is blissfully enchanting. The rippled reflections distinguish it from the usual photos of placid lakes.
