It's easy to attack "the Republicans" generically, but they need to attack them individually, one by one. They have a duty to do so.
Because they are anti-American and anti-democracy. If they are pro-Trump, they are anti-freedom. They do not deserve to be in the Congress of the United States. They represent the worst in America.
If they cannot defend our laws and our Constitution, they cannot defend the American people.
In my opinion, Democrats should attack them for their lack of courage and their refusal to defend our country from domestic enemies.
They should call for Republican voters to send them home. Do not be a part of their conspiracy against our nation. Do not send them back to Washington.

We are well aware that the majority if republican voters are exhibiting the signs of being in a cult.
And we know that the attraction of cults is that the victims are promised a sense of belonging to a group that will make them feel superior in same way to outsiders.
Maybe, if we can get them to understand that by identifying (and voting) as a Republican, they are showing the world that they are just like the bad people that they see on TV every day, maybe their own need to be socially accepted will snap them out of the fog they're in?

definitely.
Attack them for all the reasons you said. Point out their lies in detail every time they come out of their lying faces.

(3,946 posts)That's a big thing both in local politics and even with national politics. Surprisingly, especially on the locally based programs, there aren't a lot of callers, though if the host is a Trumpie, there will be lead-up questions asked to determine whether you're conservative enough to join the conversation. I had my talking points ready, along with facts, including references to a couple of websites, and managed to answer the questions in a way that they let me on. I cited websites in my question, and when he tried to divert the conversation, I talked over the top of him and continued to do so until there was silence and I was the only one speaking. When the host said, "Why don't you let him answer the question," I said, "He's not answering the question I asked, and I'll be glad to listen if he answers it."
Did I get anywhere? Not with the legislator, but I got a website reference on the air, and they didn't bleep or cut off my comments.
We need to flood those kind of programs with constant calls.
