Question about Hunter Biden's foreign business deals...

I know the Republicans and Magats are trying their hardest to tie Joe Biden to some kind of bribery through his son's business deals.

My question is:
Is Hunter Biden being charged for anything illegal with those business deals? In other words, are the deals themselves legit if no connection to quid pro quo is ever made?

1. So far he hasn't been charged with any crime relating to business deals.

The indictment was only for the firearms charge.

4. I don't think we know the facts around his business deals. Republicans just make up lies for

the media to repeat. The only thing I remember is that Burisma hired Hunter to advise them on legal issues and obviously because of his father’s high positions in government. I’ve seen no evidence that Joe Biden ever participated in any business deal that Hunter participated in. Many people invest in businesses in other countries, such as Trump’s golf course in Ireland and Scotland. Hunter might be well served to actually reveal what deals he made, especially if they’re all just regular investments similar to those that many people have made.

9. It's all very confusing and I think republicans like it that way and don't want clarity

For example, anytime they (the repubs) say Hunter Biden and associates received money, it's never clear who they are actually talking about. They always want it to sound like Hunter was getting everything.

The president said to TFG during the debates that Hunter had never been involved or received money from any business with China.

Unsubstantiated claims about the IRS ignoring "evidence" about Biden. It's all bullshit.

in DC. And Republicans never thought it was a big deal, especially when there are members of their families profiting from those connections.

And I'm not sure what the crime would be.... tax violations maybe? Possibly unregistered foreign agen if he actually tried to influence policy, but afaik, there's no evidence he did that.
