According to a flyer posted on social media, the "youth lead" (SIC) event will feature a "bonfire where we will burn books and ungodly artifacts" and "notepads to write and burn lies of the enemy."

There are photos of the bonfires where books were burned which today would be worth (conservatively) millions of dollars. It was a political witch hunt started by a doctor whose anti-comic book volume Seduction of The Innocent was debunked when his donated papers revealed that he would combine multiple patient interviews into one person, thereby debunking his own findings. A politician with presidential aspirations jumped on the band wagon and had Congressional hearings, which found nothing, and his aspirations evaporated. Today those burned books have been preserved in hardcover reprints by collectors.
