6. My Niece Is Getting Married That Day

It's out of state so we can't go.
They're both Halloween lovers, but we're worried about the potential for cold weather so they figured a few weeks early on Friday the 13th was an excellent compromise.
They're in their mid to late 30s, and it's first marriage for hoth, plus they're both educated professionals. It's not a frivolous young kids choice.
We wish we could go, but with my wife's back & the pets it's not practical.
Oddly enough, my wife & I got married on the Ides Of March!
So, that's 2 weddings in our family on dates with a dark history.
