This is what enrages me: that every single person who claims to support the 2nd Amendment and unlimited gun rights, clearly does not give a flying fuck about human life.

I live in New Mexico. Our Governor recently tried to put in place a temporary restriction of concealed and open carry in Albuquerque, and of course it was shot down. Plus, idiot Republicans have tried to impeach her.

I just wish that each and every person who supports the 2nd amendment in this way would suffer the consequences.

Also, pictures of what guns actually do to people need to be out there.

It's important to understand that among the reasons there was a growing sentiment against the Vietnam war in the 1960s and '70s was that news coverage included talking about the fatalities in the war. It made them real, brought the deaths of young Americans home. Similarly, we need to bring gun deaths home.

32. They think an individual was targeted but not hit

The shooting that erupted on the campus of Morgan State University on Tuesday injured five people. Four of them are students at the university. Police do not believe that they were the intended targets of the gunfire and that the targeted individual left the shooting site unscathed.

"One individual was a target of two individuals that had weapons," Baltimore Police Commissioner Richard Worley told reporters during a press conference following the shooting. "We don't believe that individual was hit."
