"Moderate" Nancy Mace voted to axe McCarthy

What do you think her game plan is? She's aligned herself with Gaetz now after months of trying to play the moderate on cable TV. Of course the media let her get away with it even as she baselessly accused Biden of horrible things, which I won't mention here.

Could she be trying to swoop in and run for Speaker herself? She's a real weirdo, and her actions don't always align with reality so who knows?

This morning she went on Bannon's show to say that republicans were guaranteed an impeachment. She is rapidly moving towards Jim Jordan territory.

but I am sure she see herself as Speaker material. Reality doesn't seem to be her thing.

That’s a false position the media manufactured to spin it as though there’s some “diversity” within the GOP.

so used her vote instead to better position herself with her base constituency. She's milquetoast; she complained about trump's actions on Jan 6, but did not vote to impeach him, she publicly asserts to support gay marriage, but voted in favor of the Respect for Marriage Act, she wrote in opposition to support of Ukraine, but voted for the Supplemental Appropriations Act.

My guess is she's another finger-in-the-wind type of legislator.

And I remember she was on with Andrea Mitchell a few months ago pretending to be upset about some anti-abortion bill the House was considering and then she voted for it hours later. I do think she has ambitions of some kind and doesn't see herself as a lightweight.
