Trump drops his $500 million lawsuit against former attorney Michael Cohen

NBC News
Former President Donald Trump on Thursday unexpectedly dismissed a $500 million lawsuit against his former lawyer Michael Cohen while vowing to revisit it later.

In a two-page document filed in federal court in Miami, an attorney for the former president said Trump was "voluntarily dismissing" the lawsuit, which alleged breaches of attorney-client privilege.

Trump can't withstand discovery and the deposition he'd be required to give.

Plus, I understand that Trump has some other pending legal cases that probably require some of his attention. (wink)

Given the shenanigans he was able to document before the judge, he will be entitled to not just compensation for lawyers fees, but also damages.

He will easy be able to prove this was a frivolous lawsuit intended to harm him.

This will leave a mark.
