Pro-Palestine rally in Times Square

NEW YORK (PIX11) — A pro-Palestine rally was held in Times Square on Sunday after Hamas attacked Israel in the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, organizers said.

The demonstration kicked off near 42nd Street and Broadway at 1 p.m where there was a heavy NYPD presence at the event.

“In solidarity with the Palestinian people and their right to resist 75 years of occupation and apartheid,” the New York City chapter of Democratic Socialists said in a social media post.

Gov. Kathy Hochul spoke out against the rally, calling it “morally repugnant.”

Palestinians have referred to Israelis as Nazis in the past.
People who feel oppressed often refer to the oppressors as Nazis.

before the attack. Then I would have supported it. But celebrating a terrorist attack is not going to win people to your cause.

I can't deny Israel's role in oppressing the Palestinians, or explain how to fix it, but I know there will never be any peace and comfort for Palestine as long as Hamas is making decisions for Palestine.
