Israel will kill thousands, probably tens of thousands of people in Gaza, some of whom will be members of Hamas. They will likely occupy Gaza for a few weeks. Then they will pull back and resume the blockade. They will not allow the UN or any other military force into Gaza, or cede any control over the region.

It is very unlikely anything will substantially change.
