I am glad these children are alive and appear to be healthy. If Hamas wanted to gain an iota of goodwill, they could simply release the children. Or if that is too much, maybe Israel would resume the water it supplied in exchange for the children.

Because if it is then those babies were taken from the loving protection of their parents to be used as some sort of sick propaganda pawns. To me it looks like the older boy possibly has a quick wash to make him presentable judging by how his shirt is wet. Then there's the juggling of the baby while holding the gun. I won't speculate as to the location or status of the parents since I don't know.
