Hes ordering flights to bring Floridians back from Israel. Did the State Department ask for his help? If not, is he interfering with the efforts to bring people out of Israel? Hes using Florida taxpayers to do this. Im just wondering if this is truly helping or political. If hes helping why does it only refer to Florida residents..why not anyone?

(17,077 posts)If you are talking about his executive order, that's not what he did.
He in essessence ordered his staff to work with the federal govt to facilitate the return of Florida residents who may be stranded.
In short, he ordered his staff to write an emergency memo to offer assistance to the federal government.
He isn't sending any planes anywhere.
