(60,733 posts)The graphics are a little dated, since this is 13 years old, but the music and lyrics are still spot on:

(60,733 posts)The sound track is still valid, but the video is definitely dated at this point.

(60,733 posts)But now, I am indeed a bit far from Dallas. About 5000 miles as the crow flies.
I hadn't originally planned on settling in the German Rheinland, but one of the friendlier natives made me an offer I couldn't refuse. She said America was a nice place to visit, but she didn't want to live there. However if wanted to live with her on the banks of the Rhein, I was welcome to join her. Of all the possible answers that came to mind, "no" was not one of them.
Luckily, my outfit in Dallas was open enough to new ideas to say, hey, if you can make it work for us over there, go for it. We now have offices not only in Germany, but also in the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Switzerland England and Hong Kong. Not bad for an employer I joined at age 23, just twelve barely 20-somethings having fun. Not twelve guys any more, either--over 50 times that now, and half the station heads, including New York, London and L.A., are women, so I can't say "guys" any more, either.
