"Last night I had the strangest dream I've ever dreamed before..."

I've just been sitting here thinking about how weird it is that we have 'rules of war.' At this point in history, I'm grateful that there are some, but still I'm appalled that the human species has 'agreed' to them. When you think it about it, it's odd. we're suppose to be the ultimate species on this planet and yet the best we can do is sometimes abide by 'rules' for warfare.

Yes, I believe there are some wars that simply need to be fought, but damn, is that the best we can do? I guess I'll keep humming and praying that sometime, in the generations to follow, people will finally "agree to put an end to war." Please, maybe, sometime...

I've recently accepted the epiphany that the heedless quest for power is like the heedless greed for money. It will never stop. In the history of the World and the present and in the future, there will always be those who will throw themselves into fire in order to have more than they already have.

Consult your Bible and your Greek Epics. It's all in there.

The Bible, at least the Old Testament, is pretty much one war after another with some sex thrown in every now and again, which, I guess, pretty much sums up human history.

I'm pretty sure that Hamas, Netanyahu, Putin, Kim Jong-Ill, etc. don't give a rat's ass about my sentiments, our sentiments.

Damn, can we just get rid of them? I am so damn human. But I'm still gonna just keep humming. Maybe someday.

Somebody something or other. Still valid today. Little toxic masculinity boys playing at fighting until it’s not playing anymore, and now nobody in charge thinks to say “Perhaps we could stop?”.
