FL official who orchestrated the migrant flights to Martha’s Vineyard last year has quietly resigned. He illegally used a non-govt email address under the name ‘Clarice Starling’ to arrange the flights with a private vendor.

Desantis's Public Safety Czar Larry Keefe has quietly resigned his position. Keefe became embroiled in controversy after he orchestrated the migrant flights last September using a private vendor using secretive methods that clearly violated Florida's open government laws.

When making the arrangements with Vertol, Keefe did not use his official government email account, instead using a private Gmail account under the code name "Clarice Starling," named after Jodi Foster's character in The Silence of the Lambs.

Both Desantis, Keefe, and the Governor's office have steadfastly refused to comment on why a state official would intentionally circumvent public records laws for the migrant flights. Litigation is still pending on whether Keefe lied under oath about the flights and email account.

8. MSNBC had a special documentary about the Martha's Vineyard incident

that was produced by Trevor Noah - "The Turning Point: Martha's Vineyard v. DeSantis"

I didn't see it but it aired last Sunday.

I expect that it helped to provide the extra steel toe boot to that guy. And yes, there are a whole pile of stories being buried and it has been happening even before the Israel/Hamas war.

But since it was "out there", I expect it helped to give a push out and really exposed what may have been the criminal elements of this particular DeSatan stunt (although I expect DHS may already be investigating).
