You could put brown shirts on all of them and they would say it was only part of their uniform. They believe nothing that comes from Democrats or the "lamestream media". They believe nothing that doesn't come from the mouth of their Leader.
Nothing matters except what their Leader tells them. They do not care one whit if there are four indictments and ninety-one criminal charges. They dismiss it out of hand. They are a Cult of Personality.
If their Leader is not on the ballot, the true "cultists" will not bother to vote. They will only put on their silly hats and wave their silly flags and call it a "conspiracy". When their Leader leaves, they will go back under their rocks. They will have no interest in "corrupt politics".
They are incapable of thinking for themselves. And when their Leader is put away, they will not think at all. They will only be a sideshow in the back tent at the circus.

History encompasses many brain-washed cults from all over the world since known written artistry's as well as the written word, be it fact or not. One comes to mind, Genghis Khan and religion.

(17,757 posts)They want to sit in the cheering section, being a part of the the movement, and be told what to do, what to believe, and who to worship and who to hate. It is a religion of ignorance and surrender led by the biggest con man in the history of the nation. In their minds, "Freedom" is doing exactly what they are told to do.

(40,965 posts)with their ability to reach & sway so many more people & do so without standards or accountability. IMO, he would never have been the republican nominee if it weren't for NBC's "The Apprentice," putting him center stage in living rooms across America playing the tough, successful boss yelling "You're fired." Yet when he was in office he never fired anyone to their face. He either did it via social media or had someone else do it, but he never said "You're fired," to someone' face like he did on the TV show. But of course the media never pointed out the inconsistency between how he was portrayed vs what he actually was.
His cult share the same major flaw that he has: they can't/won't ever admit that they were wrong. They've been duped & they can't bring themselves to admit it. In fact, like him, they often double down.
IMO, a trial, a guilty verdict, even a prison sentence won't sway them. Only the grim reaper can break the spell.

If you've been wondering if those German people were inherently evil, we must now face the evidence that it's actually a common aspect of the human species, which can even include otherwise good people, to be vulnerable to the influence of evil leaders who feed their hatred and exploit it to harvest their power.
