The uncle being referred to is Karim Abu Alroos on Facebook who has been posting the story about family members who have been killed in the incident he's referencing. There's a picture of him with the girl in the OP and he has home video of the girls. He says their names are Eileen and Celine. Selen/Elena could be mistranslations of the sister's names.

I'm inclined to believe this story is true.

It's very sad. Everything about this is tragic.
