BREAKING: Federal Judge Tanya Chutkan drops bombshell on indicted 2024 Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, slaps him with a devastating gag order and publicly blasts him in open court.
According to CNN, Judge Chutkan declared today, “Mr. Trump is a criminal defendant. He is facing four felony charges. He is under the supervision of the criminal justice system and he must follow his conditions of release. He does not have the right to say and do exactly what he pleases.
Then he asked Trump’s attorney, “Do you agree with that?”
Trump’s lawyer responded, “100%.”
Then Chutkan declared, “When you start to use a word like ‘thug’ to describe Special Counsel Jack Smith, who is doing his job, that wouldn’t be allowed by any other criminal defendant. Just because the defendant is running a political campaign does not allow him to do whatever he wants. If the message Mr. Trump wants to express is ‘my prosecution is politically motivated,’” he can do so without using “highly charged language.”
Judge Chutkan didn’t stop there, declaring that Trump’s “troubling” posts may incite harm and violence against Special Counsel Jack Smith and his team.
Judge Chutkan specifically pointed to a Truth Social post in which the former president referred to Jack Smith as a “thug,” asking Trump’s attorney, “In what kind of case do you think it would be appropriate for a criminal defendant to call the prosecutor a thug and stay on the streets?”
At this point, Trump’s attorney told Judge Chutkan that Trump has no choice but to attack Jack Smith because gems fighting “oppression” and “totalitarianism,” but Judge Chutkan didn’t let him get away with it, cutting off Trump’s lawyer, and telling him to “tone down” his hysterical language.
Trump’s attorney responded that Trump didn’t need anymore restrictions because the prior restrictions were “working, but Judge Chutkan literally laughed in his face and him that he better “keep politics out” of her “courtroom.”
To make matters even worse for Trump, Judge Chutkan ended today’s hearing by letting Trump know that that the trial date set for early March won’t change: “This trial will not yield to the election cycle, and we will not revisit the trial date.”

USP Leavenworth was downgraded from a max to a medium a couple of decades ago. The prison is an old run-down shit hole of a dump, one of the worst places to do federal time. Inmates are routinely transferred there from other facilities as punishment.
Fort Leavenworth does have a military Disciplinary Barracks on base, but it is separate from the USP next door.
While I would love to see drumpf suffer there, he'd probably wind up in a more modern detention center while awaiting trial. And regardless of where he would wind up, he would surely be kept in a Special Housing Unit, segregated from the general population. Not so much for his protection, though the Secret Service would demand that, but to keep other inmates from beating classified information out of him in a shower stall.
What I REALLY want to see is him complaining about the slimy bologna sandwiches in the Fulton County Jail... I dare to dream!
To which I say...."Go fuck yourself and that golden escalator you came down on."
