Biden lands in Israel during a shooting war, and nobody mentions it...

No stories headling it here or on dkos. Some discussing his meeting with Netanyahu or discussing the Palestinian rocket strike on the hospital, but nothing on the historic visit itself.

And not a word of how brave, both personally and politically, this is.

Interesting and infuriating.

the usual suspects saying "that was a dumb move", per se. Most are commendable tho. That indeed took courage.

I personally wished they kept it under wraps until he was safely back in the United States. It seems irresponsible for the media to cover his every move with Hamas walking around.

It's too dangerous for him to be there with those two organizations going after each other.

That the entire country is not burning, and that some normalcy is possible.

Yes, there is a war going on, but it is reassuring for families in other parts of the world.

flying into a war zone should counter that narrative, but only if it is discussed so "the great unwashed" actually hear it.

which they won't because they're listening to hate radio.

Unless of course, those news events aren't mentioned. Which I find interesting and in some ways infuriating.

We would rather discuss tinys thoughts on Flys or Jordan's nthteen vote than a historic trip that can destroy election chances.

The media give Biden credit for zero. His competence, compassion and steady leadership are bad for ratings. They desperately want the reality tv buffoon back in office.
