...it turns yellow when someone replies? Why make using the DU far, far more confusing?
Why all the scattering, combining and uncombining?
This is really awful to the nth degree. I thought I would not like the new set up. I find it beyond dislike. It's horrible.
Not sure if I will continue here or not. I really, really dislike this new version.

(10,018 posts)I will give it some days to try to get used to it. I liked the old design. It was logical and easy to use. I have yet to see the logic in the new design.

(39,612 posts)The boxes on the left. Aaarrgghh
I have to turn my tablet sideways to even see them. Horrible.

(12,046 posts)I'm sure we'll get used to it. But as for the posts button, is there anything that alerts you when someone replies to you as that yellow button did?
Scottie Mom
(5,837 posts)...inside another button?
That makes no sense.

(12,046 posts)The my stuff thing flashes. Good enough for me, I ain't scared to click one more button!

(4,901 posts)There's a category called "My Stuff" notifications where you can select a style for that function, as well as turning it on or off.

(5,837 posts)I cannot figure out why the post reply button is inside of another button. That makes no sense.

(55,237 posts)Click on My Stuff, click on Account Settings, scroll down to Visual Appearance, click on Skinner Mode and then be sure to scroll all the way down to Save all Settings and click on that. It's not identical but is much more like the old look.

(6,492 posts)I have lots of perception problems with excessive random white space and with very clunky buttons and button boxes.

(55,237 posts)us the choice to choose the new format or something closer to the old one. I can see why the new look doesn't work for some for sure.

(25,355 posts)With the old format, my phone sometimes disvonnected me and I had to sign back in, even though I selected "remain signed in."
So if it happens on this format, where do you sign in? The sign in option used to be at the top of the screen on my phone.
Spazito
(55,237 posts)You don't see it if you are already signed in. If you want to sign out, click on MY STUFF and you will see a button labeled SIGN OUT, it's the last one on the bottom row.
