California Senator won't run for seat in 2024

Laphonza Butler will not run--leaving just 3 previous contenders for Dem side and Steve Garvey for GOP.

Ballotpedia has a list of current contenders. Remember that in California all the candidates, regardless of party, run in the same contest. The top two go on to battle in November.
