so I could put the page in dark mode, and realized all the cool stuff I've been missing out on the last 16 years!
The change took me off guard, but it looks great and easier to navigate (or easier on my brain) in dark mode.

Seriously: it's a dark-ish background that some users find easier on the eyes.
