Trump again says the election was a German Fruit cake and tries to distance himself from Sidney Powell .................

I mom always made a few of these fruit cakes around the Holidays but I never did like them.

4. Actually, it kind of does, because if he'd ever wanted to claim

the attorney-client privilege wrt Powell, he just waived it - not that it would have held up anyhow because of the crime/fraud exception. But now he can't even litigate it.

6. Can that still be claimed given the plea deal?

I’m not a lawyer and I appreciate your expertise.

Her plea included “truthfully testifying” or something like that. Is that language usually in plea deals?

from trying to make the argument just for the sake of delay; that's all he's got any more. Her plea agreement that includes her truthful testimony against other co-defendants (which is a common thing in plea deals) would certainly throw a spanner in the works even though the privilege belongs to the client and not the lawyer. If the specifics of her confession implicate TFG, as is likely, his claiming the privilege wouldn't get him very far. Maybe at this point he's concluded that he's better off just throwing her under the bus like he usually does when somebody close to him fucks up in a way that makes him look bad.

The privilege goes away if the parties knew they were committing a crime. As I understand it.

It is a delicious German sweet yeast bread filled with dried and candied fruit, often with icing on top.
