Vladimir Putin 'suffers cardiac arrest' sparking 'alarm' in Kremlin inner circle

Vladimir Putin is alleged to have suffered a "cardiac arrest" in his private Moscow apartment on Sunday evening.

A Telegram Channel believed to be run by a former Kremlin insider reported that incident saying the Russian leader was found by guards on the floor of the bedroom "lying on the floor, rolling his eyes."

Doctors were reportedly called immediately and they later diagnosed the 71-year-old as having suffered a "cardiac arrest."

Putin was then moved to a special medical facility built in the apartment where he underwent intensive care, the source claims.

If anyone in Putin's inner circle had leaked the information, they'd be tracked down and offed immediately, and nothing of the sort has been seen, the channel is still going strong.

So take this with a pound or so of salt and realize it's most likely wishful thinking, as Russia would never release any news that Putin is not only human, he's also mortal. It just isn't done.

MOSCOW, Oct 24 (Reuters) - The Kremlin on Tuesday denied a report that President Vladimir Putin was ill, and laughed off persistent rumours that he used body doubles to cover for him in public appearances.

"Everything is fine with him, this is absolutely another fake," Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said when asked about an unsourced report by a Russian Telegram channel, picked up by some Western media, that the president had suffered a serious health episode on Sunday evening.

The spokesman laughed in response to a further question about body doubles, and denied that Putin had any.

"This belongs to the category of absurd information hoaxes that a whole series of media discuss with enviable tenacity. This evokes nothing but a smile," Peskov said.

Putin, a judo enthusiast who has long cultivated an "action man" image, turned 71 on Oct. 7. He maintains an intensive schedule of meetings and public appearances, many of them televised.

153. Assuming it's true (big assumption),

a big question would be for how long Putin's heart stopped. The longer it's not pumping, the more brain damage is inflicted. Oxygen deprivation is a real thing and has real consequences, and there's no guarantee that Putin will fully recover. But we've previously heard reports that Putin had terminal cancer that apparently disappeared, so we really have no credible information regarding this latest presumed "event."

Even if it was the wrong Putin that fell and had to be revived, how does anyone but security know which Putin. Even when Brezhnev died, people doubted that, just because of Soviet media. It was always humorous with Pravda as the source as just every so often they printed something truthful. Now it appears that telegram has replaced Pravda.
