McCarthy didn't get the votes he needed until Gaetz finally made him a deal he couldn't refuse. That's how Kevin became Speaker. Then he lost the Speakership when Gaetz got mad at the deal to "save" the President's budget. I mean, Matt Gaetz was perfectly fine with the Repukes tanking our economy, just to make points with Chump. What an asshole!
