Rep. Mike Johnson didn't just "express concern" with the integrity of the 2020 election, he asked SCOTUS to overturn it

Steve Vladeck @steve_vladeck
The (Rep. Mike) Johnson-led brief didn’t just “express … concern with the integrity of the 2020 election” it asked #SCOTUS to hold that the results in GA, MI, WI, and PA were “unconstitutional.”

Someone who would advance that argument as late as December 10 has no business being Speaker.

Proud to lead over 100 of my colleagues in filing an amicus brief to express our concern with the integrity of the 2020 election--& our election system in the future. We believe this suit filed by Texas, supported by 17 other states, merits full & careful consideration by SCOTUS.

That's a phrase liars use to add weight to their nonsense because anything deeply concerning should already be evident.

I thought the Texas vs Pennsylvania case was a different kind of nonsense-- that those states' changes to voting procedures were wrong. Which is still stupid and ridiculously antidemocratic, but maybe ever-so-slightly better since it is at least asking a question about the law and not just making up things out of thin air.

Anyone know what he's said since?
