the "liberal position" 30 or so years later.

Witness: 1984 - Woman named as candidate's pick for VP ...

2008 - Woman named as candidate's pick for VP ... while a woman makes a serious bid for the "big job" ...

So ... will it be 2032 when, if they're still viable, the Republicans float a woman VP well into the campaign? (it might already start ... the presidential campaigns seem to start earlier and earlier, it might be possible that someone announces in the next few days as running for 2032 ...)
