https://www.commerce.gov/news/fact-sheets/2023/10/fact-sheet-biden-harris-administration-announces-31-regional-tech-hubsI thought I'd do a copy/paste of where they are. They are ALL OVER THE US and cover EVERYTHING TECHNICAL. I am hoping that the states/regions that signed up for this have a plan for developing a tech-savvy population that can sustain the initiative. I think if they hype it, show how cool the technology is (OK, maybe non-techies don't get excited about innovative technology), talk about the job opportunities, they can build some excitement.

(6,309 posts)There are several major tech hubs in the US right now. Seattle is definitely on the map. What's exciting about this initiative is that the new tech hubs are IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE!!!!! They are in states that people have barely even heard of! Montana! Idaho! (None in the Dakotas. Oh well.) Sadly, I don't think Mississippi made it. Louisiana did. For CLIMATE CHANGE!!!! Take that Mr. Johnson.
