ELON MUSK ASSOCIATES SAY HIS STRANGE BEHAVIOR MAY BE RELATED TO KETAMINE HABIT

https://futurism.com/neoscope/elon-musk-ketamine
COULD THE NOTORIOUS HORSE DRUG BE TO BLAME FOR ELON'S LATEST ANTICS?

"special K"?

Billionaire Elon Musk's increasingly erratic behavior and decision making may, according to some people close with him, be due to an alleged increase in ketamine use.

In Ronan Farrow's sweeping and detailed look into the current Muskworld palace intrigue for The New Yorker, one choice tidbit stood out: those close to the billionaire's orbit are concerned that as he continues to pile more onto his plate, he may be self-medicating, and that the horse tranquilizer-turned-recreational-and-therapeutic drug may be what he's turned to.

As Farrow notes, there's been increasing chatter — including from Musk himself — suggesting the world's richest man is, at the very least, interested in the drug's therapeutic effects.

Though he has declined to comment on the story, the SpaceX and Tesla owner did not, as the report notes, deny that he has used ketamine, and after the Wall Street Journal reported earlier this summer that multiple people had seen him use it, he tweeted in apparent support of the drug.

Drugs? Moi?

15. He microdoses - pretty popular now

Elon said he microdoses for depression. Microdosing psychedelics & drugs is pretty popular now. Take naltrexone- it’s usually given to alcoholics & drug users at 50 mg - but thousands now take low dose naltrexone for pain - at doses of 0.5 to 5 or 6 mg. I’m glad he’s not overdosing as he will be providing Star Link to the UN and Red Cross working in Palestine- after Israel cut all internet off.

“Microdosing is nothing new in Silicon Valley culture with tech execs and employees claiming that tiny doses of psychedelics help with focus and increase creativity. Further away from the tech hub, and mirroring Musk’s use, the potential of psychedelics in treating different medical conditions has also been gaining popularity.

“In fact, psychedelics have even been part of the investing landscape for a while now, too. The past few years have seen several companies in the healthcare space have designs in getting treatments with drug compounds approved for use in treating all sorts of conditions such as anxiety, addiction, post-traumatic stress disorder and depression.”

18. Except recent studies show Ketamine actually doesn't work for depression

Here's an article in Science magazine:

Ketamine no better than placebo at alleviating depression, unusual trial finds

The man doesn't need ketamine. He needs a professional who can help him take a good hard look at himself and his toxic ego.

But really, his biggest problem seems to be the KKK part more than the "etamine."

7. I think his strange behavior is due to his underlying self centered sociopathic personality

Ketamine will never turn a generous and kind person into an Elon Musk

He's a jerk, but a wealthy one, so we'll be more specific in labeling. Definitely a self centered sociopathic personality, with enough financial resources to be a threat to civilization.

14. My son has been given ketamine for a medical problem.

I won’t go into it but he described it as feeling as though he was sitting, watching himself go through it. Near as I could tell he found nothing appealing about it.

16. Did he microdose or get a full dose?

Lots of studies using psychedelics for treating those with severe depression. It is a dissociative - so you can look at your life from a distance - probably why he felt like that.

My eccentric writer/artist neighbor is big on ketamine trips. I must say he is really out there when he’s tripping on ketamine but he says it helps him create. My neighbor is definitely not microdosing!!

17. I don't know but expect it was a full dose.

He has a dreadful issue called cyclic vomiting syndrome. It’s related to migraines. He’s been hospitalized for it many times. They only tried ketamine in the whole cocktail of things they give him a couple of times.

I know there’s a whole microdosing thing. I’ve thought about it, but I’d have to really trust the therapist. The idea of being addicted to it is interesting. Psychologically maybe.
