The Civil Fraud Trial Is Damaging Trump Bigly

Letitia James is showing everyone that the emperor has no clothes and ripping apart Trump's con.

When Princess Ivanka takes the 5th, or Jr. or Eric, it can be used against Trump in a civil trial. Interesting to see how defense attorneys interrogate Trump's spawn.

Buy stock in popcorn. This is going to really piss Trump off.

I’d say there’s a better than even chance of perjury rather than taking the fifth.

(more than 500 times for Eric's deposition), the judge will likely not go for a blanket statement of declaration of intent to assert the 5th for all questions--but rather will allow them to belabor the point, no matter how long and irritating to all listening. If no other reason than to give a full record justifying his ultimate verdict.

“Ivanka, you are so beautiful it must literally hurt. Can you describe your pain to the court?

What is it like being the daughter of a God?

Tell us about your favorite moment on The Apprentice?”

The perfect example of damned if you do, damned if you don’t.

I do wonder how much of tfg’s spawn’s unethical, disgusting behaviors are due to nature (inherited traits), nurture (or lack there of) or something else.

You can't be compelled to incriminate yourself simply because you're not currently charged with something. But in a civil trial, the refusal to answer can carry a negative inference, so refusing to answer will hurt her father's case.

That's the part I like. Will get interesting when he tries that in his criminal trials.

The Trump Show was over, she meant it. And thank God, for that. Trump's antics, his fraudster, petty and vindictive nature has poisoned the country.

Time to shut the carnival tent down.

For good!
