We must focus on preventing a government shutdown and passing a budget

We have less then 3 weeks to pull it off and the odds are against us getting what we want. This new speaker is of the radical far right that will shut it all down and will hurt this country. Maybe during the next 3 weeks we can convince enough moderates republicans to force a vote or we're facing massive cuts of the safetynet, lgbt rights and investment in our own country or months of shut down government. This cluster fuck is only starting and I hope we're ready to campaign on it! We must tell the people that the republican party aims to gut their retirement, healthcare and destroy America's ability to compete in this world. We must tell them that we're utterly fucked as a first world society if they don't vote democratic next year. This is no joke.

We can't afford to focus on Israel or Ukraine as we're even more fucked then those countries and it is time to focus on ourselves. Focus on ourselves before we end up worse off then Iran, Russia or what the people have to deal with under the taliban. I am dead serious. We're in trouble. The enemy is kicking down the door.

3. I disagree with the Israel and Ukraine part

We're the beacon of democracy across the world. If we abandon Ukraine after this and let them lose to Russia it will be worse than if we had done nothing and greatly embolden our enemies. China will probably take Taiwan if they see Russia win, and that's just the start. Ukraine aid is critical and we need to hold our for it.

Also, what do you mean "we're even more fucked than those countries"? We don't literally have the Russians invading and we didn't just have a horrible terror attack either.

4. Johnson and the MAGA Republicans will make passing a budget nearly impossible

for the Democrats with their omissions and inclusions.

If the country shuts down, they'll say it wasn't Johnson's fault; it was the Democrats who refused to pass the Budget. And use it in 2024 for all offices.
