Vulnerable Groups Need to Support Biden

I'm a 71-year-old retired, married, childless, heterosexual male living most of the year out of the United States. I mention this because there's really not a lot of downside at stake for me, personally, if Trump becomes President. The reason I'm for Biden is that I still love the United States and I love our Democracy. I also believe that Biden is a capable and good man.

However, I've been reading some disturbing news lately and some concerning polling data. Support for Biden is off nearly 20% among African Americans (mostly among male voters). Young people have dropped nearly an equal amount. Muslims and Arab American voters are down nearly 40 points, due to Biden's support for Israel.

I can't think of 3 groups more at risk of a Trump 2024 victory than those listed above. If Trump wins and the inevitable harm comes to these 3 groups, they will have only themselves to blame if they continue to fail to understand what a binary choice is.

1. People who say they are reluctant to or will not support a candidate are generally very well versed in what that means,

and talking to them effectively about it is a lot harder than "sucks to be you, I guess."

2. I disagree.

In 2016, I spoke to many intelligent, well educated women who just "didn't like" Hilary. I explained that the most important issue in the 2016 election was the Supreme Court. Many ignored my advice, voterd for Stein or blanked the Presidential contest and never thought that Roe would be overturned.

A lot of people don't get it until it's too late.

not to support them for whatever reason.

4. It is challenging given that the Democratic Party is a very big tent.

It is not nearly as ideologically united as the Republican Party. Ultimately, the vast majority of anti-Trump voters will vote for Trump. The problem is that there are also people who don’t have a self-conscious political perspective who may simply not vote.

I think you mean "anti-Trump voters will vote against Trump".
