(4,135 posts)Guess it's just what you can prove. I'd think some kind of sexual assault on a minor would be appropriate.

(4,135 posts)Bet a slick lawyer can get a sexual charge thrown out, as the accused was performing the circumcision as a "religious" act, and it wasn't sexual. Throw in that he's a nutcase, that charge may be difficult to stick, IMHO.

(81,266 posts)Almost certainly there will be other violations, probably sexual.
It is going to be hard for this guy to pretend he is some sort of religious agent
authorized to cut off part of a baby's penis.

(4,135 posts)Circumcision. Whether or not he's capable of doing it properly. Practicing medicine without a license. Assault with injury. Child abuse. These are readily provable. A sex charge would have to delve into his psyche, which is more difficult. If he has prior complaints for sexual misconduct, then it's a go. One time, he might slide on that charge, without a specific confession.

(81,266 posts)He has no medical license, no religious standing.
There are people who are highly trained to delve into psyches.
And it doesn't take a PhD to see this man focused on the infant's
genitalia for a reason. Evidence at a crime scene leaves a lot of clues.
