Aside from the usual chaff, so earlier this morning they do a story on the continuing crisis in Israel and its surround, and then jump into a fluff piece on J-Date, the matchmaking service for Jews. Now several younguns in my family have met and married thru this service and many many of my patients' social lives revolve around it, but I thought the segue was a little peculiar given the story of the weekend. I'm not dissing anything or anyone, but geez...they might have put it off for a time ...
Then again, one could make the case that it was a perfect time to showcase this aspect of Jewish life here in the Information Age...
Either way...almost funny, as in funny-weird.

Let's run them right after each other!" The decison-making never got any more philosophical than that. The people who produce cable news every day aren't complicated, deep thinkers. And Jon Stewart thanks his lucky stars for them every day, for providing him with a never-ending wealth of lampoon-worthy material.

If my son/daughter came to me and asked to attend NYU or GW as a journalism student, I'd buy them a DLSR, a passport and a round trip ticket rather than spend 100K on an 'education' which produces CNN, MSNBC et. al.

Gotta love the marketing. God's choice no less.
I wonder if J-Date says similar.
