Swifties to the polls!

Associated Press

Taylor Swift is encouraging her pack of Swifties to head to the polls on Election Day.

“Voters gonna vote!” Swift wrote in a post to her 275 million Instagram followers, riffing off the lyrics to her hit single “Shake It Off.”

In the post, she encouraged those registered to vote in Colorado, Kentucky, Maine, Mississippi, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas and Virginia to “use your voice” and directed them to the nonpartisan voter advocacy group Vote.org for more information.

Vote.org says nearly 40,000 people registered to vote on their website after Swift mentioned the group on National Voter Registration Day in September.

If she could deliver even 75,000 votes, 3/4 of which are in marginal close races, she could tilt 2024 Congress by 7-10 seats!

And if she passed by me on the street, it probably wouldn't register who she was.

However, I have seen some pictures of her, and calling her ugly is just...nuts.

People who say stuff like that about clearly attractive people always sound like middle-grade girls who are unpopular because they suck as people.

a right-wing hack group (funded by the same ones behind the current RW nuts) that lied about John Kerry.

Maybe I'll actually look up this person, Taylor Swift, since she (they?) get so much attention and adoration.

The Swift Boat Vets were the lying scum of their day. Totally horrible human beings egged on by trash Limbaugh. I’m retired Navy, I wouldn’t piss on them motherfuckers if they were on fire.

Taylor Swift is a patriot. And apparently a shrewd business woman.
