(43,850 posts)A nice little piece of wisdom from my old psych studies. We are so inclined to believe loud, aggressive seeming groups are a big representation of whats out there. And if we ignore them they can be. But if we get off our collective butts to truly believe we are more, and wont be depressed out of voting, weve got a way out of this mess. A long one, but a way.

(42,033 posts)People dont want the Nazi Mom Brigade AKA Moms For Liberty controlling what books students can read and making LGBTQ kids feel endangered.
Maybe people are waking up and seeing what fascism looks like.
I also have some of my faith in humanity restored.

The GOP in the Massachusetts State Senate are outnumbered 'bigly," but I hate that any MAGA can win in this state.

(19,704 posts)in a very red county in Iowa, while the people who I know are Democrats lost in our local elections, the vote was 60/40 in a town where party registration is 75/25.
