Can someone please help me remember who made this loathsome anti-abortion argument?

My googling talents are failing me, but I remember some Trumper saying that one reason abortion is bad is that we have a labor shortage, and abortion is reducing the number of babies who can grow up to be workers in the labor market.

In other words, forced pregnancy is a solution to our labor shortage. (That, combined with ending child labor protections.) Of course these same people think we should limit immigration as much as possible . . .

I told a relative about this today and he didn't believe me, so I'd appreciate any links.

During a House Judiciary Committee hearing, Rep. Mike Johnson attacks Roe v. Wade, insisting that if only women were compelled to bring more "able-bodied workers" into the world, Republicans wouldn’t need to slash Social Security and Medicare.

Republican Lawmaker Says Abortion Makes Us Lose Potential Laborers
“I think it’s bad for society,” Wisconsin Assembly Speaker Robin Vos boldly claimed.

“I think how many Americans today would be alive in our workforce, doing all the things that helped make America great, if we hadn’t had such easy access to abortion,” Representative Robin Vos said on Tuesday at an event. “I think it’s bad for society.”

In a clip circulating from a House Judiciary Committee hearing, Johnson said that “Roe v. Wade gave constitutional cover to the elective killing of unborn children in America.” He went on to discuss the supposed implications of not having “all those able-bodied workers in the economy.”

"All that cheap labor we lost because of abortion."

She was told to shut-up by her own party (R), and died a few years later.

I thought is was Mean Jean Schmidt (OH), but she still breathes...

It MIGHT have been in Georgia, but I really don't remember, and my Google is failing me as well.

If I think of it, I'll pass it on.
