1. I don't think most would turn violent - but not many are necessary

in order to create chaos and mayhem. The majority would just stand by and let it happen, which is just as bad.

I think the vast majority are non-violent. Some certainly would but it’s a small percentage. But as noted, it doesn’t take a lot.

His vermin statement reminds me of the “cockroaches” term preceding the Rwanda genocide though.

8. Depends on how you define "followers" and "harm"

If you mean anyone who would vote for him in 2024 and serious harm, the percentage is very, very low. The truly violent wreck havoc and get a lot of press, but in the big picture (tens of millions of people) there just aren't that many of them.

If you mean only his true believers and anything from getting in a fist fight at a bar or assaulting their neighbors over politics on up, the percentage is probably a lot higher, though nowhere near the top end of this poll. It's probably in the low single digits, at most. Probably not even that.

Contrary to popular opinion, I don't think there's a mass horde of Trump supporters waiting for their chance to roam the country, leaving a trail of destruction. I think most of them are just ignorant loudmouths. Of course, that makes the real threats a little harder to identify.

I put it down to 10% who would be violent.

Now, if you count how many would FUND violence, the number goes back up.
