(10,969 posts)Maybe the "I've never seen anyone support Hamas!" people might want to take a gander once in awhile at what is happening in America.
And Linda Sarsour is there, because of course she is. Anyone who invites her to anything in polite company is endorsing her views, IMO. We wouldn't be chill with David Duke at our events, would we?

October 8th.
It's not that this is professional, exactly. It's that all these ideological and antisemitic groups and organizations already existed, and they were waiting for the world's attention. Now that they have it, all those materials, talking points, and PR blitzes are going to work.
This is what college campuses have looked like for years. Have you seen all the crazy shit some of these professors have been saying? They didn't just arrive in academia. They've been there for ages. Once October 7th happened, they just printed the flyers and saturated social media.
We just ignored it. People don't like calling out their own side unless they absolutely have to.
But I think we've reached well beyond the point where we absolutely have to.

I wish I could say this was sarcasm, but it is not.

(3,477 posts)Hey, come on now. That's clearly not anti-Semitic. That's obviously just a call for peaceful cooperation and dialogue, just like "from the river to the sea" is a call for peaceful liberation and freedom.
