Jesus didn’t bother to correct beliefs against gays and abortion during his supposed time on earth. An all knowing god would not have left those topics untouched (along with slavery). Instead knowing the way it would be written down and translated he just ignored it.

Otherwise his politically polarizing policy agenda will be seen as an irrational expression of his own neurotic insecurities.

And if that gets out into the public, then conservatives might start recognizing the number of people in their own families who are victimized by his hateful policies and could start to back away from the extremism. And where will his control go then?
