Representative Chip Roy went scorched earth on his Republican colleagues on Wednesday, haranguing them for years wasted on inaction and chaos as opposed to doing their jobs.
The Texas Republican and Freedom Caucus member spent his time on the House floor on Wednesday shouting and wildly gesticulating at his caucus, condemning them for capitulating on promises by working with Democrats and lamenting the partys transparently vacuous approach to building a border wall.
One thing. I want my Republican colleagues to give me one thing. One. That I can go campaign on and say we did, Roy said. One!
Anybody sitting in the complex, if you want to come down to the floor and come explain to me one material, meaningful, significant thing the Republican majority has done besides well, I guess its not as bad as the Democrats, Roy lamented.

While Roy is a big part of the problem as a member of the freedumb cockus, it was very kind of him to make a commercial for the Dems. Lincoln Project will probably have another masterpiece out of that sound bite.

(2,373 posts)Its a fine line between examining what your party is really accomplishing and becoming woke. Id say lets give him the chance to stumble over it himself, but most of this lot from TX are gonna need a good, firm, shove.

Chip is a man with no ideas, no policies, and no hair. If he left office tomorrow he'd have done more to improve America than any vote he's taken in congress.
