Safe Districts In New York

Maybe we should start worrying about winning back the 4 seats that Magats won this past election in districts that President Biden carried?

Maybe we need to do a better job of exposing frauds like Anthony Devolder?

We don't need to attack Democratic House members who actually won their elections. We don't need to be divided, there is no really good answer to the Israel/Hamas war.

1. I'm not aware of anyone in The Squad being attacked...I'm aware of their opinions being criticized.

And as I said elsewhere, nobody here complained when the Squad members ran against other Democrats.

None of that is mutually exclusive, and many people are able to multitask. It is possible to do more than one thing at a time.

As for Santos, his local paper wrote scathing articles about him prior to the election and the DCCC noted it and made it public before the election. Many were aware that there were serious issues with him prior to the election.

It isn't Democrats marching in the streets chanting "Jews will not replace us." It wasn't a Democrat who went into the Tree of Life synagogue and murdered Jews.

The Republican party is full of Nazis who hate Jews. Since Trump became president attacks on the Jewish community have increased 10 fold.

Why don't we prioritize our priorities? The enemy of the Jewish people is the Nazi-laden Republican party.

Were you similarly concerned when the Squad members were running against incumbent Democrats, or is your defense of incumbents new-found? Did you speak up back then on DU about these new candidates who had the gall to run against incumbent Democrats? How dare they!

Rhetorical questions. The answer is obvious and, frankly, a bit funny. Our outrage about many things is nothing if not selective.

Similarly, I find it funny that defense of incumbents suddenly becomes important to politicians only after they become incumbents. Before then, it's "down with the status quo!"

"The enemy of the Jewish people is the Nazi-laden Republican party."

The Jewish people have many enemies. There is also a very large gray area between "friend" and "enemy" where many reside. When DUers are comparing Israel with the Nazis, as I have seen on multiple occasions of late, they sure as hell aren't friends.

To forestall a potential objection, I'm aware that Jews and Israel are not exclusively synonymous, but any reference to the Nazis in relation to Israel is abhorrent, not to mention laughable.
