Remarks by President Biden at Campaign Reception | San Francisco, CA
https://www.whitehouse.gov/briefing-room/speeches-remarks/2023/11/15/remarks-by-president-biden-at-campaign-reception-san-francisco-ca/"...folks, this is the Biden-Harris agenda. And that agenda not only is popular, but people are voting for it. Its winning elections over and over again.
The press and pundits can keep being surprised as much as they want, but since I came off the sidelines to go toe to toe with Donald Trump, we havent stopped winning, and he hasnt stopped losing. (Applause.)
Remember when Trump told us he was going to win so much wed get tired of winning? (Laughter.) (Inaudible.) Oh, man. I dont want I shouldnt get started. (Laughter.)
Let me tell you one thing thats true: We got tired of Trump. The truth is the guy cant get tired of losing."

(13,496 posts)corporate media just can't come to the reality that the GQP are losing across board. The GQP keep trying to ban abortion, women's rights, civil rights, voting rights, ban on books, ban on factual education, and the GQP are still effing the economy and they are still stone cold nuts.
Even McTurtle thinks it's not his responsibility to have non-violent environment stating it's up the the Capitol Police.
WTF.

(7,248 posts)Republicans vs Democrats. Network reporting of candidate's policies and actual issues became a thing of the past with the Kennedy/Nixon debates of 1960, televised in real time.

(89,223 posts)That Joe has figured this out. It may be that he sees that as long as the media are covering him, many in hopes of catching him looking weak and feeble, he has the advantage in stumping them and throwing out a few zingers he can not only chump them at their own game* but get more coverage for his actual message.
*Which he does masterfully and often.

(7,248 posts)Whereas, media syndicates are actively on the hunt for relatable "conservative" talking points, omitting their contradictions in logic and/or factuality entirely, while progressives must send up emergency flares in hope of coverage. Then, to make matters worse, the media demands that progressives prove an emergency is real before it's allowed exposure onto their "hallowed" dais. And, of course, the progressives' broadcasted lament must always be balanced by the outrageous testimony of select representatives of the opposition. Like, "we have the latest news on a 5-alarm fire in the heart of our city, it's bad and here's the fire chief to give us details, but first, let's hear from the alleged arsonist. Mr. arsonist, why does the fire chief have this vendetta against you?"
I exaggerate? Not much.

(9,789 posts)Whatever it takes to keep Trump out of office. I think a good thing to do would be to remind people that if he loses, he's probably going to jail. I think a lot of people would go for that.

(4,741 posts)And some of them are stupid because our traitor media has made them that way by promoting traitor party lies while all but silencing Democratic truths.
This has been another edition to simple answers to...simple...questions.

(55,437 posts)I have to wonder who makes up the questions for these polls, who conducts them, who decides how they are conducted, and who makes up the reports on the results?
Sometimes, I get the impression the people who design these polls are the same ones who thought up the referendum about whether parents would be happy if their children were taught to use Arabic numerals in school? Ask that in Massachusetts, and you'll probably get a majority of, "whaddy think, I'm stupid or something?" Ask it in Idaho, and you'll get a lot of "over my dead body!"

Stop following them, and start turning out the vote.
IOW, polling a year out from the actual general election DOESN'T. MEAN. SHIT.
