Commercials in which she appears play on a near-constant basis.

Or anyone who watches NFL football. Anytime the Chiefs play and she's in attendance, they show her about fifty times.

She appeals to way more than the under-25 crowd. That's why her current tour is going to gross more than two billion dollars, just in the US. Billion, with a "b". For one tour.

A lot of the comments in this thread fit under the "I don't know her, so that means no one else does, either" variety.

Well, sort of. Actually, I'd extend that deadline to about 1989 but only in certain genres that began in the 70's. We all do it. It's neurological. Some of us soften as get older but I never did. I'm an early 60's guy who still cranks Deep Purple and Van Halen to about 150 decibels. While some newer music is interesting, it can't compare in my mind to what I grew up with. I'd assume folks who are in their 20's think my music is horrible or at least outdated.. I thought the same of my parent's musical tastes.
