completely make tanks obsolete. Tanks were crucial in a few big fights after that, but maybe no more. Israel would have been just a few years short of having even more wicked anti-tank weapons when they needed them. If they would have had a bunch of Sky Raiders and Cobra's they probably wouldn't have been attacked.

I'd like to know just how many Russian tanks have even gotten shots off against Ukrainian tanks? I bet not many. Not enough anyway and in country that saw some big tank battles in WWII.

Tanks and other heavy armored vehicles may just be big expensive targets now. Any couple of guys in the brush with anti-tank rockets or drones spot your armor and it's toast. If you manage to eliminate those threats, and control the sky, what would your tanks shoot at? It used to always be good to have tanks to destroy bunkers to help infantry, but the rockets and drones can do that too.

Don't think for a second, we don't get to pay a shitload more tanks though.
