Apparently Hamas is delaying releasing hostages today. Supposedly Quatar is trying to mediate.

Hamas claims aid is not being allowed into northern Gaza. Israel says it is.

"#NEW - Ynet quotes an Israeli official responding to Hamas's claim and decision to delay the release of hostages.

The official says that more than 61 trucks of aid entered northern #Gaza, contrary to what Hamas said.

The official further warns that if the hostages aren't release by midnight today, Israel will resume its military operation in Gaza."

I think midnight in Israel is about 3pm est.

I don't know if aid trucks to northern Gaza was part of the original agreement.

Well knock me over with a feather.

I was wondering when Hamas would renege on their agreement.

Holding them is their only leverage in the end. They will string this out hoping Israel will give up because of pressure from their useful 'supporters' in the West.

Neither is Hamas' attempts to spin this as an IDF failure.

They're refueled and supplied enough now they're in a position to dig back in and carry on.

Hopefully something can still be worked out.

Per PRCS

The Palestine Red Crescent teams received 196 trucks loaded with aid through the Rafah crossing yesterday.

The trucks contain eight trucks of medical supplies and medicines, and four trucks of hospital beds while the remaining trucks contain food, water, and relief
assistance.

⭕️ The total number of trucks received from October 21, 2023, until now is 1759 trucks.

They released the elderly and infirm they would have trouble moving around, and children- also troublesome in detention.
Frankly, I think the hostages they released were the ones they wanted off their hands.

JMHO.
