Hamas claims aid is not being allowed into northern Gaza. Israel says it is.
"#NEW - Ynet quotes an Israeli official responding to Hamas's claim and decision to delay the release of hostages.
The official says that more than 61 trucks of aid entered northern #Gaza, contrary to what Hamas said.
The official further warns that if the hostages aren't release by midnight today, Israel will resume its military operation in Gaza."
I think midnight in Israel is about 3pm est.

(7,611 posts)Holding them is their only leverage in the end. They will string this out hoping Israel will give up because of pressure from their useful 'supporters' in the West.

(20,051 posts)Neither is Hamas' attempts to spin this as an IDF failure.
They're refueled and supplied enough now they're in a position to dig back in and carry on.
Hopefully something can still be worked out.
Per PRCS
The trucks contain eight trucks of medical supplies and medicines, and four trucks of hospital beds while the remaining trucks contain food, water, and relief
assistance.
⭕️ The total number of trucks received from October 21, 2023, until now is 1759 trucks.

Frankly, I think the hostages they released were the ones they wanted off their hands.
