I never saw the link, sorry. Here we have protests every other week, loads of propaganda from both sides being unloaded. Just the same day a clip was shown in which a man was hauled away as if deadly wounded, only to see him lounging around a couple of minutes later.

It's been going on for a couple of thousand years. There are temples built upon mosques upon temples and generations dating back to antiquity on both sides have treated each other similarly.

I have no answer for it but it is clear to me that only those directly involved can solve the problem. All we can do is try to foster a mutual respect between them and try to get them to the table. But in the end we cannot undo what they are unwilling to change after millenias of hostility.

It's a historical novel as are most of his books but the historical part is accurate and depicts the history of the area going back to its geological formation. I think it is a must read for anyone trying to understand the conflict.
