My guess is that the amateur sleuth's will have a field day, but that the FBI already had access.

But, there's no evidence this has happened yet. And, even if it were come to pass, this is too short a time since the public release.
Finally, I read that Johnson might be blurring the faces of those not already indicted, which I also find dubious given how much footage there is.

(19,375 posts)say that there are around one thousand Jan 6 criminals who the FBI has successfully ID'd (including with public help) who have yet to be arrested or indicted, and about another one thousand who they have yet to successfully ID. This was before the tape releases. The FBI has got an arresting backlog on top of an ID-ing backlog. And they have field offices who just won't prioritize working these cases.

Count me as very skeptical that this too-good-to-be-true meme from a resistance-cheerleader account -- with no supporting evidence cited -- is true.
