Overturning of Roe v. Wade led to 32,000 additional births, study findsNY Post
Since the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade in June 2022, at least 30,000 babies have been born that would have otherwise been aborted, according to a new study published this month.
The 32,000 babies were born in states that enacted some form of abortion restriction, according to the study conducted by the Institute of Labor Economics that looked at the effects of the U.S. Supreme Court decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Womens Health Organization, which returned the issue of abortion to the states.
Our primary analysis indicates that in the first six months of 2023, births rose by an average of 2.3 percent in states enforcing total abortion bans compared to a control group of states where abortion rights remained protected, amounting to approximately 32,000 additional annual births resulting from abortion bans, according to the study.

Very questionable methodology, but I'm sure the RW is patting themselves on the back right now.

as white parents do, making abortion illegal mainly prevents brown people from access to women's health care. Poor people of all colors have also lost access to human decency and health care.

How many additional abortions in non-regressive states have been performed to residents forced to cross State lines for healthcare? What is the breakdown percentage by financial class of those crossing State lines for reproductive healthcare? What are the physical, psychological, and financial effects on families forced to make that decision? How will forced births affect future families already struggling?

Not to mention Child Protective Services and foster care services for kids who are being abused or neglected by their parents.
